Wig Party

Our friend Carol invited us to a wig party this past weekend. It is actually held annually around this time of year for a friend of Carol's birthday and is held at Turtle Bay. We definitely haven't done something like this in a very long time so it was fun to go out with friends and get all done up for the party. We borrowed some afro wigs and clothes to go with it from a friend of ours and decided on a 70's theme. Dean was actually a good sport and agreed to wear the wig...even though he wasn't too excited at first. We even tried to revive our dancing skills out on the dance floor. After a night of dancing, people watching and socializing we realized we were getting old because it was 1AM and we were so tired already. On our way home we did hit the local 7-eleven though for some yummy nachos and slurpees just like the good ol' college days. be young again!

Getting ready for the party...Aya wanted to wear the kid's afro wig with the gogo boots all around the house.

Update on the Daley's...

I've been meaning to post for awhile but have been super busy for the past couple months. Not a whole lot of new stuff going on but thought I'd post some pics of the kids and give a mini update.

Our weekend getaway in town...

It is always hard to get Dean to stop working on the weekends so I basically had to book a hotel in Waikiki in order for us to spend time with him. He has been doing a lot of side jobs lately and the days he isn't doing side jobs, he is working somewhere helping other people on different projects. But it was actually pretty fun playing tourist and walking around the strip. We hadn't done that since college so it was kinda fun to be out late and introduce our kids to the night life and of course...the crazy people that come with it.

Not so camera shy...

Aya looooves to get her picture taken lately. She is constantly asking me to take pictures of her especially with Kash. Sometimes he in these pictures...other times he runs away as fast as his little legs will take him. It is cute to see them playing together more now that Kash is getting older.

Random pics...

Aya is now in gymnastics once a week. She looks forward to it every week and practices her forward rolls quite frequently at home. Kash tries to mimic her but ends up stuck in the "downward dog" position. He loves going to gymnastics too although I'm extremely exhasted trying to run after him for a whole 45 minutes of class.
