Memorial Day Fun!

For Memorial Day daddy as usual worked...helping out my brother renovate their condo...and we got to spend some time in the sun at Camp Mokuleia. It was actually my first time going way out to that side of the island, where apparently, according to my sister, they filmed a lot of "Lost." Aya of course loved the beach as usual and didn't want to go home. It turned out to be such a nice day and such a great spot to relax for the day! Gotta love the Holidays!

Aya's new favorite song to sing is the ABC's. She forgets some of the letters sometimes but she can usually sing most of it. (you may want to pause the music at the end of the page so you can hear here singing)

Happy 28th Birthday Dean!

Today is Dean's 28th Birthday! We are getting so old! I already turned 28 in February and Dean's been accidently telling everyone he's 28 too on accident. I guess the older you get the more you tend to forget about birthdays. Here are some memories to celebrate the last 27 years of his life! I feel so blesseed to have such a wonderful husband. I love you Dean!

First Day at the Beach...

Despite what Dean may think I'm not trying to get Kash tan...although he is starting to get a little more color. My friend talked me into playing hookie from working at home and I decided to take Aya and Kash to the beach a couple days ago. Aya luuuvs the beach and as always manages to get sand in every crevice imaginable and Kash seemed to enjoy it too.

In our relief society lesson this sunday we talked about the accomplishments we had this past week. Since mine are slim to none...I thought I'd take this opportunity to fill you all in with the recent happenings and accomplishements of Kash and Aya.

Kash will be 4 months old in two days! Time flies by so fast! He rolled over at 11 weeks for the first time but does it a little more frequently now. He even rolled from back to tummy once.
He is just starting to figure out how his little fingers and hands work so he can pick things up like his pacifier and put it back in his mouth.
He sleeps from 9pm to 4ish now! I can finally get a little more sleep!

She can sing almost all of the ABC's (with the exception of EFG)
She goes #2 on the toilet and has now decided to go #1 too!
She tries to say prayers at dinner and bedtime which usually consists of saying the names baby kash, anna and kela (her cousins) and amen.
Her new recent sayings,"Oh my goodness!" "Oh, man!" as well as repeating everything else we say.

Aya and Anna's 2 year Bash!!

I can't believe she is already TWO! Technically Aya's birthday is on May 27th but since it is so close to her cousin Anna's birthday (April 25th) we decided to have a joint b-day party for the two of them right in the middle of their birthdays. We ended up celebrating their birthdays with a BBQ bash at Kualoa Beach Park on Saturday. We wanted to make it fun for the kids so we planned a few activites like races, waterballoon toss, pin the tail on Eeyore, limbo, and pinata. All in all, it turned out to be a fun but very tiring day! I thought I took more pictures but I was a little busy running around coordinating games etc..but here are just a few memories from the party!

Family Fun Night!!

Last week we were invited to my sister's kid's family fun night at their school. It took a bit of effort to convince Dean to go but we drove an hour away to spend time with Aya and Kash's cousins for a night of food, games and rides! Aya absolutely loves pony rides so she had a lot fun riding the ponies and petting the animals in the petting zoo.

Aya was a little too young to go on most of the rides there but she convinced her cousin Jonas to go with her on the helicopter ride. She was a little scared at first but ended up having a blast. They also had a bunch of games for the little kids to play where they won tickets which they could redeem for prizes.
